OK I know how strange this might sound but hear me out.

Ben= James Potter. He's seen as a hero throughout the entire series even though he can be a royal jackass and a child.

Gwen= Lilly Evans. Very studious and talented as well as kind and compassionate.

Kevin~ Severus Snape. Has lived a very hard and abusive lifetime and still carries a lot of open wounds. Is connected to the underground and is willing to go into the moral no-man's-land to do what is right or get the job done.

Grandpa Max~ Dumbledor. The wizened elder with more than a few skeletons in his closet, seems to have the answer to everything and is seen as an all-powerful guide but as the story progresses he eventually becomes much more human.

Am I the only one who sees this?

OK so now that I've seen more of OV and all it's affiliated abominations- er, I mean characters, I have decided to take a stand decidedly AGAINST it and now I am seriously thinking of attending a makeshift funeral for the loved ones we have lost: Gwen, Kevin, Julie and, to a measure, Ben. *sniff* It's just not fair! What did we ever do to Derrik J. Wyatt?

Lately I haven't been able to get enough of our favorite kid psycho Kevin Levin, I literally have not been able to get enough! And I am so sorry to all those who have watched me put up diddly squat over the past few months, you give me your attention and critiques and I do nothin'.
Things I'm going to try to do:
1.) Post more.
2.) Get off my ass and actually complete a few fanfics I've been working on.
3.) Expand on Kevin's point of view because I seem to be fixated mainly on Gwen's.
4.) Investigate using side characters (starting with Ben) instead of just our 2 lovebirds as catalysts for the storyline.
I am also working on a new fanfic that I m putting a lot of thought into but knowing me probably won't be up until sometime next eternity that kind of follows a situation akin to the startings of WWII or Hitler's rise to power or whatever you want to call it when I finally get it up.
General overview-
Gwen finds a dragons egg in a meteorite crash not unlike how Ben found the Omnitrix.
Ben has been slowly going crazy with and is starting to abuse (more than usual) it's power.
Kevin 11 has been stalking the Tennysons and is noticing the changes in Ben.
Grandpa is blind to Ben's spiral (kind of a cheat on a man I greatly respect and admire but storylines are storylines).
As the group travels the country Gwen tries to find a suitable incubation spot for the egg which has been named Teila (pronounced TEE-Lah).
Gwen and Kevin talk.
Gwen runs away.
Big showdown.
Grandpa dies.
Ben gets trapped in the Omnitrix.
Melancholy ending.

Any ideas at all on the storyline would be greatly appreciated and has anyone else noticed like the little blip in OS where they give a highly impressionable, innocent albiet mischevious kid endless power and somehow he doesnt pull a powercraze thing? Now according to the time-honored phrase "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely." shouldn't this be like, the worst aligning of the stars ever to occur withing our dimension? Eh, that's cartoons for ya.

P.S,
    Oh and one more thing I have decided tobecome Switzerland on the whole Omniverse debate thing and disown it's gwevin portion but keep watching it for Rook and the hope of seeing Kevin on those past flashbacks. So yeah, buenos noches o buenas tardes o buenas dias to y'all, bye.
